Stray Kids has once again proven their unrivaled global presence by holding a solo concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, USA, marking them as the ‘first K-Pop 4th generation group’ to do so.
Stray Kids held solo concerts as part of their world tour ‘Stray Kids World Tour <DOMINATE>’ at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, USA, on May 31 and June 1 (local time). Originally, one show was planned for May 31, but due to enthusiastic support, an additional show on June 1 was added, meeting fans for a total of two performances.
SoFi Stadium is renowned as one of the most iconic and luxurious stadiums globally, having previously hosted esteemed artists like The Rolling Stones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, BTS, and TWICE. It currently serves as the home stadium for the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers and is slated to be the venue for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
At SoFi Stadium, which boasts an overwhelming scale including a massive circular screen on the ceiling, Stray Kids performed a parade of 30 hit songs that have received worldwide love. This included everything from their debut song ‘District 9’ to their latest song ‘GIANT (Korean Ver.)’ during a roughly three-hour runtime. The audience, filled with passion and joy, responded with singalongs and roaring cheers.
Stray Kids first entered a North American stadium venue for their debut stadium concert in March 2023, with an encore concert for their second world tour ‘Stray Kids 2nd World Tour “MANIAC”‘ at Los Angeles BMO Stadium. Approximately two years later, they held a grand solo concert at SoFi Stadium, which has more than three times the capacity, showcasing their explosive growth and popularity.
The eight members expressed their sincere gratitude, saying, “Thank you to all the STAYs (fandom name) who came today. We are very happy to be able to return the happiness and love you have given us. This moment is all thanks to you. We feel even more grateful through this tour.”
